I love Instagram because it allows everyone a chance to blog, whether they realize they are blogging or not. 😉 My instagram is my perfect little microblog. I like to follow others who provide inspiration. Since I got into fitness last year, I am always on the look out for some fitness motivation. Here are my 12 favorite fit-spiration Instagrammers that I recommend following.
Jessica documents her “fight to be fit” by sharing raw and honest anecdotes from her journey. My favorite thing is that her fitness regime and diet are totally something we can all do. Plus I want to own all of her workout clothes. My favorite gram was when she used her cat as weight for her workout.
Kristine has lost almost 100 pounds. Lately she has been sharing grams of weigh-in’s, weekly running schedule and pretty plates showcasing her meals. She is getting married and running a marathon in the next few months, so follow her journey for exciting updates. On her blog she also provides food and workout tips.
Her bio puts it best: Pinterest-crafting, cross fit-loving mom of 3. Meaghan shares peaks into her life and all of her finds at Trader Joe’s make me desperate for a store near me. Her ‘grams are focused on healthy food, healthy encouragement, and of course her adorable kids and craftiness. I would also recommend following her on Pinterest for further inspiration.
Lisa Leake who also started the blog 100 Days of Real Food and later wrote the books runs this account. I recently heard about the books and added them to my Amazon cart for future purchase. 100 days of real food was a mission to set out on 100 days without processed foods. Lisa still tries to live without processed food. You can see yummy food photos and other health inspiration by following her. I also recommend following her on Pinterest!
Pam is a health advocate and new mother. She blogs at Hodge Podge Moments and Abs and Anchors. The latter is dedicated to health and wellness, showcasing tips and tricks she learns along the way. You can find help with accountability, motivation, organization, self care and much more. In the past she has created health challenges and she currently offers a free accountability group on her blog.
Believer in hard work and determination, Morgan’s instagram feed is filled with inspiration fitness quotes, meal prep, and body progress shots. She is fierce and unafraid of the boys in the weight room. You can find her hashtagging #girlswholift , as she does just that.
Chelsea’s instagram is food goals. Her food is always so colorful and beautiful and of course cannot forget healthy. She also shares lots of her before/after transformations. If you’re looking for some body-positivity and self-love inspiration follow Chelsea as she spreads just that. I really love her instagram stories and live sessions as she is so fun and friendly.
Her instagram covers a little bit of everything in the health and fitness realm. She is a member of Weight Watchers and is on a weight loss journey. She has already lost an amazing 63 pounds and looks incredible. I recently just started following this account and am excited to continue to follow her efforts to lose weight and reach her goals.
Shay is the creative mind behind this Instagram microblog. I really enjoy looking through her pictures. She posts pictures of absolutely beautiful food, so beautiful that I would even frame it on my wall. Her account is unique on this list in that she focuses more on nutrition and mindfulness.
Erica is a very popular Youtuber and personal trainer. She was actually just on the Today Show too. She shares sneak peaks from her videos and general life as a strong and fit bosslady. When you look through her latest Instagrams , you will never know she used to weigh 150 lbs more than she does now. Erica is an inspiration to hundreds of thousands of followers.
